Child Custody Transfer

In most states, child custody orders are enacted with the understanding that they will remain in place until the child in question reaches the age of majority or financial self-sufficiency. Indeed, in a number of jurisdictions, there are laws in place that prevent parents from requesting multiple custody changes within a short period of time.
