Custody Battle

The term custody battle is in use frequently when parents split up and the process of deciding what happens to the children ensues. In most situations, parents come to an agreement of what will happen to the children once they separate. This usually includes a plan of who will make decisions for the child and who will have physical custody of the child. When two people cannot come to an agreement, they are required to head to court where a judge will help them to make this decision. A custody battle can be difficult on everyone involved, even the children. It is essential that parents work together when possible to work out a plan amicably.
